Dr. Yannick Girouard is originally from Caraquet, New Brunswick. He obtained his preparatory diploma in health sciences from the Université de Moncton and then obtained his doctorate in dental medicine from Université Laval. He then decided to practice general dentistry in the Greater Moncton area. He is a member of the Canadian Dental Society as well as the New Brunswick Dental Society.
In his spare time he has an active lifestyle and practices several sports. He also played a lot of hockey and tennis throughout his youth.
